6th, 7th, and 8th Grade
WestlakeUMC is a unique environment that allows every student the opportunity to grow and be challenged in their faith walk with God! We know how important establishing a core belief system is before High School, and we do our very best to share our hearts and relationship with Christ to each and every student. The Junior High students are given their own time and space in which their age group can engage in discussions about their life as they grow in faith.
We meet each on campus in Building M. We have pool, foosball, Xbox, Blue-Ray, and lots of great places to hang out and relax. Our weekly and monthly activities we’d love you to join:
- Sunday School meets Sunday mornings 10:00-11:00am in Building M room #
- Bible Study meets Wednesday nights 6-7pm, we meet @ Building M and then go across the street to Starbucks.
- Monthly Sunday fun in fellowship as well as service opportunities
- On Sunday nights, our Junior High students get to enjoy fellowship with the Senior High students. During this time, age barriers come down as they interact through games and service opportunities. Not only do they get the opportunity to bond with the older students in an open and unique environment, but the Junior High students also get to witness and are mentored by older students walking in the footsteps of Christ.
7th Grade Confirmation
Our Confirmation Classes are open to anyone in 7th grade and above who is interested. The course starts in October and runs through to Easter each year. To know more about this opportunity please visit our Confirmation Class Page.
