We want every parent to know that their student’s faith development is the top priority at Westlake UMC. We take great steps to ensure a safe, secure environment where students may discover the truth in Jesus Christ, our mission and our heart. It is also of great importance that parents are given the opportunity to have a hand and voice in all that happens here. Their faith journey is only made stronger when you walk with them.
Our hope is that they connect and grow deeper in their faith-life! There are many ways you as a parent can get involved in supporting your child’s growing strength in Christ each week. You can serve as event staff at youth group, leading or co-leading a Sunday school class or ministry team, attend the Parents Group, and go on a retreat, along with many more different and exciting ways to serve.
Programs DO NOT survive without parent and sponsor support. We heavily rely on you, hopeful this will be a tool to aid you, as much as you help us! This page is where we will post our sign-up pages and other references for you to use.
We also send out weekly emails to parents of students to keep them in the loop, if you’d like to be added to this list please let us know!
